• What is an Electronic or E-Cigarette? It’s modern technology that uses a high quality Li-Ion battery to power a heating element, called an Atomizer. The Atomizer heats and vaporizes a liquid based nicotine called E-Liquid producing a liquid vapor, which is not smoke made by normal combustion/burning of traditional Analog Cigarettes.
• What are the ingredients in E-Liquid? E-Liquid's main ingredients are food grade/USP Propylene Glycol (or called PG) and/or Vegetable Glycerine (or called VG or Glycerin) and food grade flavorings. PG and VG is deemed safe by the FDA and PG is used in a variety of home products like medicines, cosmetics, food, toothpaste, shampoo, and even the mist produced by fog machines are made by using PG. 
  
• Can I quit smoking with an E-Cigarette? E-Cigarettes is an alternative to smoking. There is no guarantee that someone will quit smoking and it is not intended as a smoking cessation device. However there are a large number of former smokers reporting a high success rate and we hope you success if that is your goal!
• Are E-Cigarettes safe?  Traditional smoking health concerns are very well known for the effects produced from combustion/burning.  E-Cigarettes produce a liquid vapor that may contain nicotine.  E-Cigarettes are not FDA approved, but neither is traditional smoking, so just like traditional cigarettes, E-Cigarettes and nicotine are not recommended for anyone pregnant or with heart conditions and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.  WE ARE NOT DOCTORS so any statements on this site are not intended to replace the advice from your health care professional.  By purchasing any products from this site, you agree to use at your own risk.
• How long does a full battery charge last? It depends on the user's length of draw and how often they draw. A fully charged battery Joye 510 Battery can typically last anywhere from 2-5 hours while a RiVa (eGo) Battery can typically last anywhere from 12-24 hours.
• How many puffs can a fully refilled cartridge last?  Again it depends on the user. A full cartridge can typically last 60-100 puffs depending on how long of a draw while a full Cartomizer can typically last 100-200 puffs.
• How do you smoke the Electronic cigarette?  E-smoking is different from normal smoking. E-smoking is a matter of inhaling rather then smoking. When you inhale, you should consider the following.  For Manual Button Batteries hold the button down for about 3-5 seconds while drawing slowly and continue to draw 1-2 seconds even after releasing the button.  The atomizer is still producing vapor while it cools down.  Do not inhale continuously or for a long period. Do not pull too heavy or too fast or too many times in a short period of time. This will have a negative effect on the cigarette function. Always pull slowly (3 to 5 times pulling) and let the atomizer rest in between for at least 3 minutes. Over consuming your E-cigarette will lead to malfunctions. If you wish to inhale more or more frequently it is advised to use 2 sets of E-cigarettes alternatively.
  How do I maintain/clean my E-Cigarette? With 2 piece models, cleaning the contacts points with pure alcohol ( no perfumes or dyes) is all that is typically needed. At the bottom of this page is a maintenence guide for the Joye 510 and EM-RiVa 3 piece models. 

Joye 510/EM-RiVa (eGo) Atomizer, Cartomizer and Cartridge Information

• How do I Refill/Fill my Cartridges?  Take a cartridge and remove the white rubber cap and set it aside.  Inside the cartridge you will see a poly fiber filler material (looks like cotton).  Drop about 10-12 drops of E-Liquid directly on top of poly fiber filler material.  Do not over saturate the Cartridge to a point where E-Liquid is rising over the top of the Cartridge.  If the E-Liquid is slowly absorbing you may need to wait 10-15 seconds for the E-Liquid to absorb or you can use a toothpick or similar tool to move the poly fiber filler material up and down to speed up the process.  Wipe off any excess E-Liquid on the outside of the Cartridge with a paper towel.  Insert your Cartridge inside your Atomizer and wait for about 1 minute before using!  For Brand New Atomizers you can sometimes take the cartridge out and top off with more E-Liquid since the E-Liquid needs to prime brand new atomizers.  You can also replace the white rubber cap and enjoy later as a backup!

Another simple and easy method to refill a Brand New Cartridge is by removing the poly fiber filler material and fill the empty Cartridge about 3/4 with e-liquid. Insert the poly fiber filler material back inside the Cartridge and top off with more E-Liquid.  When refilling a used Cartridge, drop enough liquid till it's flush with the top of the cartridge and make sure the poly fiber filler material is also flush with the top by using a toothpick to pull it up if needed.

• How many drops of E-Liquid should I use for a Drip Tip?  For Brand New Atomizers with no primer E-Liquid you should use 5-6 drops.  For an Atomizer already in use or one that has primer E-Liquid, you should only use 3 drops.  After dripping E-Liquid inside your atomizer, hold or stand your E-cigarette in a vertical position with the mouth piece pointing up so that the E-Liquid can properly wick the inside of the Atomizer.  When the flavor starts to go away and may taste slightly burnt, repeat the process.  We highly recommend using a Drip Tip with LR Atomizers. Fpr LR Atomizers, making sure the Atomizer always has E-Liquid will help prolong the life of the Atomizer so never let the Atomizer get dry!  As soon as you notice the flavor starting to decrease in taste (do not wait until it starts to taste slightly burnt to help prolong the its lifespan) apply 2-3 drops of Liquid and aways wait at least 1 minute before using!
•  Why does my E-Cigarette taste strange?  Usually this is due to the primer E-Liquid that the manufacturer uses before shipping each Atomizer.  The primer E-Liquid ensures the atomizer does not heat and damage without any liquid or juice.   Usually after a few draws the taste goes away.  Otherwise if the taste is not due to the primer liquid or first time use, cleaning your atomizer may help.  Please refer to the above section about Maintenance.
•  What do I do if liquid comes out ot the mouthpiece?  In most cases, the atomizer is flooded with too much e-liquid. This can be fixed simply by following step 3 above in the Maintenence Tips.
•  I followed step 3 and liquid still comes out, what should I do?  If you've already followed step 3, then it is possible that your cartridge or cartomizer just needs to be replaced with a new cartridge or cartomizer, so always stock extras.
•  Whats the best way to fill my Cartomizers?  For soft tip Cartomizers, first remove the white rubber piece on the mouthpiece and inside you will see a poly fiber filler material that is shaped like a donut with a hole extending the length of the Cartomizer (shown here) .   Next hold your Cartomizer at a 45 degree angle and drop E-Liquid along the inside walls of the Cartomizer while rotating it slowly to soak the poly fiber filler material evenly being careful in not getting E-Liquid in the middle hole.  It should take about 15-20 drops to fill a brand new Cartomizer, 10-15 if you are refilling a Cartomizer and always wait at least 5 minutes before using (30 minutes is recommended if you can wait long enough).  Replace the cap when finished.
• What do I do if liquid comes out of the mouthpiece of my Cartomizer?  In most cases, the Cartomizer is flooded with too much e-liquid. This can be fixed simply removing the white rubber piece on the mouthpiece end (opposite end of the threaded ends) and use a paper towel to soak up any excess E-Liquid on the inside of the Cartomizer.  Replace the white rubber piece back inside the Cartomizer and hold the button down on your Battery for about 4-5 seconds without drawing on your E-Cigarette.  Your Cartomizer should perform better now.  If not repeat this process or you can try to blow through the mouthpiece side with moderate pressure to dispel any excess liquid through the threaded side.

Joye eGo-T Atomizer and Tank Information

• How do I fill my eGo-T Tank Cartridges?  Filling your Tanks are very easy.  First take your blank Tank Cartridge and remove the rubber cap and underneath you will see a plastic cap with a hole in the middle which will can be also be removed.  Remove the plastic cap and you can now fill your Tank Cartridge with your favorite E-Liquid!  Once filled replace the plastic cap and insert your Tank Cartridge into your eGo-Tank Atomizer.  It may take moderate pressure to insert the Tank Cartridge into your eGo-T Tank Atomizer the very first time and it is recommended to not have the battery installed while installing your Tank Cartridge.  (The pressure applied while the battery is installed may damage the post in the threads of your battery!)  The needle in the Tank Atomizer will pierce the small hole in the plastic cap you should always wait at least 3-5 minutes before use for the best results!  Another tip is that you can loosen the Atomizer and Battery connection to allow more airflow if you want an easier draw.

Lea Tank Atomizer and Tank Cartridge Information

• How do I Refill/Fill my Lea Tank Cartridges?   Take an empty cartridge and remove the white/clear rubber cap that is inserted in the cartridge itself and set it aside (the cap has an opening where the needle of the tank atomizer will go through).  You can now fill your Tank Cartridge and it should take about 10-12 drops.  After filling your tank cartridge, replace the white/clear rubber cap and insert the cartridge into you atomizer.  You are now ready to vape!  We always recommend waiting at least 3-5 minutes before use to allow the E-Liquid to properly wick inside the atomizer. 

Maintenance Tips for Joye 510/EM-RiVa (eGo)

*WHEN CHARGING YOUR JOYE 510 OR RIVA (EGO) BATTERY, IT IS BEST TO SCREW IN THE BATTERY UNTIL THE GREEN LIGHT TURNS RED AND NOT TO OVERTIGHTEN IT.  DOING SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR BATTERY AND/OR CHARGER.  WE ALSO RECOMMEND TO ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FROM CHARGING AFTER IT IS COMPLETELY CHARGED*

1. Clean the battery and atomizer by using purified alcohol to clean the contact points of the battery and atomizer with a clean paper tissue. By doing this regularly, your cigarette will perform better.
2. Clean the inside of the atomizer with a paper tissue, to absorb remaining liquid.
3. If you feel your cigarette does not produce enough smoke or the pulling becomes heavy, it is time to clean. Blow through the atomizer side, on the other side you will see liquid coming out. After this operation, clean everything and dry it with a paper tissue. Your cigarette should be working better now. If the cigarette does not perform better, go to point 4.
4. Take the inside of an old cartridge and pull it out of the mouthpiece. Rinse it with water and press it dry. Put it back in the cleaned mouthpiece. Pour 2 drops of hot water on the cartridge. Smoke without inhaling for a few minutes and check the cartridges. If the cartridge is brown, take it out and repeat the procedure until clean. Then put in a new cartridge and new battery. Your cigarette should be ok now.
