    2. Nice Box star rating

My first box mod and so far I like it a lot. It looks and feels well built , the wattage is way more than anyone would ever need. I paired this up with my Kanger Sub Mini and the vape is just great. Only negatives I do have is that the battery door is screwed on and the touch sensor is not active on this version. Not a major big deal though and can be easily worked around, but I still give this mod 5 stars. It's well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone that is wanting a VW box mod. Also want to add I had great service and fast shipping from EVCigarettes. look forward to doing business with them again

    3. Nearly perfect for me star rating

This box mod is nearly perfect for me. A large range for wattage choice, tells me what volts and ohms I'm using, and simple to use. I've been using two Efest Purple 18650 30A batteries with this and have had no problems so far. Only issue I have is it forgets the presets you make when you take the batteries out to charge, so I took off one star. People are complaining about the touch sensor not working but I'd be afraid to use that on accident anyway.

An absolute steam machine.build whatever u want in any gauge wire in any configuration and if its not producing the vapor u want turn it up ,still not good turn it up some more... And if u finally hit the sweet spot save the setting in the memory and Vape on...I put a Toby 26650 Atty on top so I don't have to drip as much because it is very powerful. If u want total control over how u vape this is the mod for you.

First things first, this mod is a bit bigger than i expected (just as the other reviewer here said) but it fits well in my hand, as I'm a big guy. The thing hits like a train running on rocket fuel, IF you know what you're doing with it. It easily handles resistances down to 0.1 Ohms. But I've found that building it at around .3 gives me better battery life, and a wider range of flavor and cloud customization via the full 150 watt range.

Threads are nice and smooth. The battery door has a plastic seal to help prevent juice from leaking into the compartment. The buttons are the "clicky" style, and provide good feedback, no accidental firing here. The screen is BRIGHT, easily capable of lighting a dark room well enough to find that rogue bottle of e-juice.

The only complaints I have are fairly minor.

1: Doesn't come with the necessary cord for pass-through charging. The Micro USB cord is for firmware updates only (And the shmucks at YiHi are too damn lazy to upgrade their stuff, so guess that port's officially useless) It requires a 6-9V 1000 mAh (That's one Amp for you not so electrically oriented people) DC wall wart (charger).

2: Touch sensor is not wired to the board. Honestly? I don't care. Wasn't really a selling point for me, and I expected that the thing would malfunction and start going off in my pocket, knowing my luck. So I probably would have disabled it electronically through the board anyway.

3: Those damn screws...I hate...hate having to deal with tiny screws. I have gigantic ham hands. Last thing I need are screws so tiny that you can hardly hold them when they're out the box. However, they're pretty well made, not the super tiny ones they had on my 30w mod...but just a personal gripe.

Overall negatives: I expected all of these, didn't really care. Did not affect my review score.

Suggestions: DO NOT replace the screws with magnets. EVER. Regulated mods contain DC to DC converter chips, which require (in essence) miniature transformer coils of copper to do the conversion from one current level to another. If you put magnets too close to the chip, you may cause interference. I learned this the hard way on my thirty watt box mod. Ever wonder when your .5 ohm coil is suddenly being read at 2.8 ohms? Not a fun experience.

In closing: I love this mod. With a burning, fiery passion surpassed only by the clouds/flavors that I get from the thing. Battery life is amazing at 70-80 watts on my .3 twisted 26 gauge coils, one set of 2600mah 38A IMREN batteries lasts me most of a 9 hour work day. If you have the money available, and a general understanding of how to use a regulated mod to its fullest, then you need to add this box to your collection.

TLDR; Sick regulated mod. Solidly built. Not super frilly, but definitely my favorite regulated mod to date (yeah, I prefer it over the GI2, deal with it).

To the EVcigarette crew: Keep doing what you're doing guys. And Adrian (hope I spelled your name right), maybe next year at the Orlando Vape Expo, Von Vape will give us a 1-1 regulated IPV3 cloud comp. (Yup, it's Bryan buddy ^_^)

The ipv3 is a little bit bigger than I was expecting, but that's neither here nor there. This box does exactly what I was hoping for and works like a dream. I use this when I'm at home and plan on taking it with me on a roadtrip next month. I just need to make sure to have a window rolled down because it helps put out some big clouds.
