I say to go with the Silver since the black paint is already flaking off, around the button area. Other than that it has performed flawless
I chose the Sony 18650 VTC3 1600mAh 30A Battery to run it.
It is not as heavy and bulky as some mods but works great.
I use Aspire Atlantis Sub-Ohm Clearomizer .05ohm

This unit is great! Solid construction, flush fit for rda or aspire tank, amazing power output, and buildable. I give this 5 stars, hands down.

Recently purchased this device as an upgrade from an Aspire CF Mod, 18650 typre not internal battery, and I have nothing bad to say about this device. I bought it on recommendation from a trusted friend, and could not be happier. Service from EVCigarettes was awesome as well, very speedy and great price.

Rate this device at four stars and not five because of several different little things i'd preferred to have been different. Memory settings are too easily changed from one memory location to another. Not careful and you'll be hitting that Kayfun at 70W instead of 20W. Also, it should be easier to change the wattage within a memory location instead of having to first go down in wattage just to turn up the heat. The threading on the battery cap is difficult at times and can get it cross threaded fairly easy.
Now for the good stuff. This is my second iPV-Mini V2 70W mod. My first made it about a month before taking a ride off of my wheel chair. Was just getting to where it was comfortable and BAM!; broke the display. The box continued to fire, just couldn't tell how hot. Shopped around for something better to replace it with but discovered that this is the best box mod for me. Plenty of power for most advanced vapers except for those who play with fire in the micro coil range. Battery life is decent. The display is easy to read and bright. The box is well constructed and made of pretty thick aluminium. Best of all; is the price. For what you get, nobody can beat it.

Good consumption of battery

First off, this is a great device if using at lower wattage. The reason being is the battery drain at 50+ watts if using a RDA kills your battery and only having capacity for the one battery means that you really need to have spares with you when you are away from home.
When used with a tank, such as the subtank mini, you can definitely get full battery life even with the 0.5 ohm heads (which i set to about 17 watts) and still get a good hit.
All-in-all, a very good device that lets you use a tank and a RDA with good results as long as you have spare batteries!
